So you see what Christmas dinner should look like. Mmmm, it's a wonder why I can't lose weight. That banana pudding was depressing to cut into it was made so perfectly. But it was more perfect in my belly. If only Ethan could have some. But he still had fun chilling with great granny and playing with his toys in his "Life Is Good" hat. Enjoy them all, there are more but I'm not gonna flood you all with pictures.

Merry Belated Christmas!
And Happy Belated 19 Weeks to Ethan! Christmas was crazy! Ethan still has some presents to open, he gets tired and grumpy before he finishes opening. So the pictures aren't over yet. When he's done, I'll get a picture of him with all his toys. It was great having the whole family, even Uncle Bub was there over the webcam. Not the same thing but hey, we'll take what we can get. We love you Bub! So here's what you are all waiting for. Picture Mania! Ethan playing with his apple teething ring, 19 weeks picture, looking cute and innocent in his activity chair, and Lil' Bit protecting him while he naps. Enjoy! This is for you Auntie Andrea per your request. Lol.

4 Month Checkup!
Ethan was 16lb. 4oz. today and almost 26 inches long and the circumference of his head was almost 17 inches! He had to get more shots this time than last time which he of course was not happy about. The rest of the time he smiled and everything looked great. Yay! Just thought I would let everyone know. Take care! Less than 10 days until Christmas!

Snow?!
Yea, so Ethan already got his first snow yesterday! He caught some on his forehead. It was pretty exciting though. Maybe we will get lucky and get more! Ethan has also been eating more real food, he loves carrots and sweet potatoes. His clothes are now stained from the sweet potatoes though. It's all good. I am trying to put a video up on here of him, I know you would all enjoy that, I just have to find a way to edit the video first. That requires more spare time though which brings me to my "what I have learned being a mommy" discussion. I have learned many things that I never thought would be beneficial such as learning to multi-task, learning to do things with one hand, and memorizing "The Night Before Christmas" story. I guess the first two could be beneficial any time especially if you broke your hand but the latter really won't get me far in life I'm afraid. But it is pretty fun to read the story to Ethan and he laughs and talks back to me. That makes it worth it. Something else I should have mentioned before is that being a mom makes you cherish so much more, like your pre-baby body. Oh, how I would love to have that tummy back. Never hate your pre-baby body cause it's like a million times better than your post-baby body unless your lucky and don't get battle scars and excess fat/skin. Once again, it's worth it though. And some other things to cherish: sleep, time to eat, time to do household chores, and my favorite, showering. Today I didn't get to get my shower until almost three p.m. but when I do get it, it's the most beautiful thing ever. It's like vacation in the Bahamas or some remote island(yea, it's that good) for about ten minutes until you are brought back to reality by the screams over the baby monitor. So for those of you who don't shower daily and enjoy it, shame on you. And one more word of advice for future mothers, do not give your baby bananas until they are older, it can constipate your precious one horribly and cause them to be irritable/grumpy for days. Alright, well there will be pictures and a video later so I apologize ya'll have to read this story with no pictures. Enjoy! We love you all!

Happy Black Friday!
Hope everyone had a good Turkey Day, I know I did. Ethan helped us cook some so he is gonna be a man who knows how to cook, that's rare out there. I won't rehash on all of the food I ate to make you all drool or make myself sound like more of a fat kid. Ha! Hopefully any of you who went shopping today survived. Yesterday was Ethan's 15 week birthday also! Yay! He ate a whole jar of carrots and some chicken/chicken broth stuff which I must say was appalling. And after feeding him all of that, he needed another bath. I unfortunately didn't get a picture but I'm sure there will be many more opportunities. We put up our Christmas trees, thanksgiving tradition of course. We got a real one for upstairs which is super exciting and Ethan LOVES the lights. So him and I even have our own trees downstairs, yes, trees. One in the hallway and one in the room. I love Christmas time too much! Only not the credit card bills I get afterwards. I actually have to try to spend my money sparingly. Not easy. So sorry to all of you in advance if your present seems cheap. Ha! Okay okay, pictures! We have his fifteen week picture of course with him in his "My Little Turkey" bib and him holding his own bottle. Hasn't happened again of course. Alright, everyone take care and enjoy!

Sorry it's been so long!
14 Weeks now and I have people requesting pictures. I do apologize to keep you all waiting. Ethan and I keep busy most of the day and Mama is trying to work out again so spare time is really not in our vocabulary often. Ethan has been helping me cook lately. He's pretty good I must say. I think he wants the food we are cooking more than anything...soon. He's been sleeping quite a while now. I'm getting worried about how he will be later since he's being good so long. He has gotten better though, his grumpy stages are seldom. He just likes to play. I bought him a bear that reads "The Night Before Christmas" out loud and moves it's head. He seems to like it and I figured it would be cool to let him listen to every night before Christmas and also stimulate him with all the vocabulary of course. I'll post a picture with him hugging it and some more. Enjoy! A little narration for the pictures also: 14 week picture, bear hug, rock on, three month birthday little man outfit. The end.

13 Weeks, Three Months Old Tomorrow!
No way! I know, right. It's true. Already almost three months old. Check out his new hat Eric got him yesterday. It's pretty awesome. Yay! Not much new lately. He flirted with an old, married woman today. Also, while we were at IHOP, he stuck his hand in my smiley face pancakes and smeared chocolate chips on his hand. Then he tried grabbing my silverware. He is definitely ready for the good stuff. I only wish I could help him out. I think he wants to be a doctor too. Today at the doctor's office, he smiled pretty much the whole time and stared at all the instruments while smiling. I could be wrong though, but I don't think so. :) But it's time to get back to the Cosby Show!!! Wooooo!!! Take care everybody.

12 Weeks!
Sorry it took so long to get his twelve week picture up but here it is. Almost three months old already, this Friday. He's starting to talk more and more every day and smile and laugh. It's amazing! He is already independent, he wants to go places and gets mad when he can't. So pray for me when he starts crawling and walking. Lol.

Beachy!
We are finally updating. This time you get a whole other slideshow of just pictures in Mississippi! Yay! I think it's safe to say that Ethan does not like long trips. Poor buddy. Everytime I would go to put him back in his car seat after driving for seven hours he would scream like crazy. But it was so worth it to see everyone. We went to the beach and Ethan got to play in the sand. I think he liked the way it felt on his feet. Then we went to a couple casinos and we ate at the Hard Rock Casino which was great. I loved the atmosphere! Ethan was actually good the whole day Saturday and slept. Then we went to the outlets to look around for a little while and Ethan got him some clothes of course. Then we came back to Groovy Great Granny's! It was an exciting weekend getting to spend time with the family. I love them all! But of course all you really want to see is the pictures so here you go! Don't forget you can stop this show and skip back and forth to pictures!

Most Unique!
Yay! First off, Happy Eleven Weeks to Ethan! Secondly, today we went Trick Or Treating at the Auburn Publix Plaza. We wore our homemade dinosaur costumes and Ethan also had a dinosaur costume. We got some good candy. Got to see some old friends. Got stared at by everyone of course and tons of people wanted a picture. Yea yea, all that is exciting but the most exciting part of all. The costume contest! There were actually a lot of people for it and there were several divisions. Ethan was of course in the birth-3 years division which had probably thirty or so kids, probably more. There were several awards, Cutest costume, Scariest Costume, Best Overall, and Most Unique. The first reward called was Most Unique and as you may have guessed by the title, little Dinosaur Ethan won. His first costume contest and he already won! So we got a $25 Publix Gift Card. It was pretty amazing. We all had fun and I think Ethan actually enjoyed himself too. Of course there are pictures. Some of him in his racecar driver outfit, his eleven week picture and him in his costume! Until next time, we love you all!

And then...
More fall fun pictures!
Going backwards again. G-Ma and me in front of Stone Mountain, Ethan chilling on the skylift, Ethan and Mommy on top of Stone Mountain, Ethan, Mommy, and Nana on top of Stone Mountain (it was cold and windy), crazy bubbles that all the kids were playing in and getting soaked in at the end of the corn maze. Made for tons of happy moms. Ha!
